I just love to watch wilshere play. However as far as england are concerned in the vast majority of matches a Barry + Parker midfield is more likely to get results. They shut out about 75% more of the opponents attacking play then say Lampard and Wilshere. They create a shield in tandem with the central defenders which breaks up opposition play allow englands attacking players such as Rooney and Walcott to thrive. the corner backs are also more able to get forward, stretching the opposition.
Does not play enough, will end up at a mid table Prem team like Blackburn you wait and see.
top player, not interested in how good he is for Arsenal (unfortunately) but he will be a mainstay for the England team
@fluffymole0913 don’t forget the time difference between these two signings. And anyway, this is one case where a player bought for little performed much better than one who cost a lot more. Just ask Chelsea how much they paid for John Terry…. and love him or hate him you can’t deny that throughout his career he’s performed consistently well

@BoSsMaaN101 I agree with you totally, He just gets it and gives it, always knows where to pass and keeps it simple. But at the same time he can create something out of anything. Wenger is clever, he didn’t buy a centre mid in the summer before last because he knew Jack would be ready this season!
