Jack should play the same role as Eriksen did last night, who simply was terrific. And if Cattermole can rise to the international level, and manage his temper, he should take the Makelele role, instead of like Wilshere last night.. he has too much offensive talent to be wasted back in that tight zone.

@england Depends on the formation really, but from the way Cappello has us play, Ashley Young on the left, Lennon on the right, Gerrard as central and Scott Parker as the holding midfielder. Nolan seriously needs a England call up too, he’s been England’s best midfielder this season in the Premier League..
It’s really not the midield that is out problem however… we need Bent and Agbonlahor given more games. And no, I’m not a Villa fan lol, Liverpool all the way.
