WILSHERE USES TECHNOLOGY
Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has resorted to the use of technology in order to speed up his chances of recovering from the stress fracture he has suffered recently. Jack Wilshere has been out of the first team action for Arsenal since September. He was initially expected to return to the first team action by January, but his anticipated return has been delayed after the England midfielder suffered a stress fracture during his rehabilitation process. This latest injury was set to keep him out of the Euro 2012, which would have been Jack Wilshere’s first major tournament with England.
In order to not miss the chance of playing at the Euro 2012, Jack Wilshere has resorted to the latest technology available in the medical field in order to boost his chances of returning to first-team action quicker than expected. Jack Wilshere today revealed on Twitter that he has been using the Exogen ultrasound bone healing equipment, which is one of the most modern equipments in the world to deal with these kind of injuries. So far, Jack Wilshere has made five appearances for England, although he is far more experienced when it comes to playing for his club Arsenal. He made 49 appearances for Arsenal in the last season alone.
“Dear exogen machine…please heal me quicker…love from your number one customer!” tweeted Jack Wilshere while on holiday undergoing the treatment. Without the services of Jack Wilshere, Arsenal have been struggling in the domestic and European leagues. They have just been knocked out of the FA Cup, while their chances of progress into the quarter-finals of the Champions League also look very remote indeed. However, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger recently confirmed that Jack Wilshere is making rapid progress and could be back within the end of March, which is the best news for Arsenal fans at the moment.
